Foreign Language Editions

Vatican Keys

Précis of Official Catholic Teaching was originally published in English.

So far, it has not been translated into any other language. CCSP is willing to have it translated. Catholic institutions interested in translating it need to recognize that the effort would be very large and time-consuming. Précis consists of twelve volumes, in all about two thousand five hundred pages.

The Catholic institution would have to be well known for its fidelity to the Magisterium. The work would have to be done by a Catholic scholar known to senior Vatican cardinals for his fidelity to the Magisterium, for his theological scholarship, and for his ability to write clearly in the destination language. Catholic institutions interested in translating Précis would have to fund the project. Copyright arrangements satisfactory to CCSP would also have to be negotiated.
